[ARCHIVED] Cleanup Day To Take Place 9/19/20

After being postponed in May, Cleanup Day for Horace was rescheduled to Saturday, September 19th.
All items and trash need to be set out by the morning of September 19th to be picked up. The Waste Management Trucks will not return to households. Please stack items neatly on the curb and organize according to type if possible. 

Items NOT accepted during Cleanup Day: 

• Electronics - TVs, computers, monitors and printers or household hazardous waste (HHW).

• Lawn mowers containing fuel or liquids

• Liquids of any type

• Freon containing items, propane tanks, gas cans

• Metals, cement blocks, masonry bricks, or any other type of landscape support.

• Tires -- Many tire dealers take old tires if you buy a new set otherwise it will likely have to be taken to the Fargo Landfill for a small fee.

• Appliances -- Appliances such as washer and dryers can be picked up by Public Works by calling City Hall to set up a time.

• Demolition piles

Note: Any item(s) deemed to be a hazard to the driver and helper or the collection vehicle will not be collected.
