The City of Horace is initiating a survey for residents in Horace that currently are NOT connected to the sanitary sewer system. At the public information meeting in June 2017, the council heard that a large number of residents are interested in connecting their houses and developments to the city sewer to allow you to decommission the current septic systems. This not only will improve the value of your home but will reduce your overall maintenance.
This month, you will receive a survey letter to provide feedback to determine interest in constructing the infrastructure to provide sanitary sewer to residential developments. A couple developments have already surveyed residents and submitted a letter requesting the city to design the infrastructure for review/approval. The council wants to get more feedback from developments and residents and landowners who are interested in getting connected.
If you have a designated "development representative", get in contact with the city staff at firstname.lastname@example.org to start the process.
